The Skill Mind Foundation celebrated Young India Change Maker’s Day on the 4th of March, 2019. The youth achievers from 2018-2019 were awarded on this day. Skill Mind Foundation is a non-profit organization with the goal of making our society a poverty free society. The involvement of youth is very necessary to change society. It is a very good initiative to encourage young people by acknowledging their contribution to bringing some change in our society.
We are happy to announce that our convener, Irfan Ahmad Noori, also received Nation Builder Award in this function for his commendable work in promoting everything good in Bihar. We also congratulate all the other award winners and hope that they will get more success in the coming years.
2. Magadh Film Festival
The city witnessed a film festival for promoting the different cultures, languages and alternate cinema of Bihar. The main motto of this festival was to appreciate and promote the cinematic work of our Bihar based filmmakers.
A variety of short movies with thriller, romance and comedy as the central theme was screened in the event. A new wave of alternate cinema has started in Bihar. This initiative is providing the right kind of encouragement to local filmmakers. We really hope that we get to see more such festivals in the near future that will showcase our regional language cinema.
